Whether you need your jeans hemmed, your suit tailored, or your wedding gown to fit you like a glove, Alterations by Patti can help you out! I have over 30 years of experience in all types of sewing and alterations.
All alterations are done in my smoke free
home studio in Glen Carbon, IL, by appointment only. I accept appointments Tuesday through Saturday, and can accommodate most busy schedules. Regular alterations can be done in one week or less, depending on volume of work. Rush orders almost always can be accommodated for an additional fee. Bridal and Prom alterations require additional time and fittings. It's never too early to get started! Please call for an appointment.

For over30 years I have been altering and creating the perfect look for that special day. I have worked for various bridal shops in the St. Louis area. I spent 3 years as the alterations manager for a David's bridal. I know what works, and what doesn't. I know that you as a bride can get lost in the alteration department of those big bridal salons. I will listen to your concerns, and do my very best to make the alteration process as easy and painless as possible. I will never and have never missed a deadline. I know that your wedding day is the most important day in your life, and I will only enhance your joy in that day.
I am an expert on finding the right fit, to make you look fabulous! I can restyle your dress, or even your mother's wedding dress to make it your own. I can handle any dress emergency...from sudden weight gain/ loss, pregnancy, last minute weddings, and even fix someone else's mistake. I can also fit your mothers, bridesmaids,and flower girls. Some custom sewing is available , on a case by case basis. I have ample experience working on David's Bridal gowns, as well as many other manufacturers. Gown steaming, and bead checking also available.
